DIRECT LICENSING POLICY
PUBLIC PERFORMANCE AND COMMUNICATION RIGHTS
This is the direct licensing policy of 3RD STEP. At present we do not have the capacity to directly license any of our sound recordings or music videos for public performance or communication. Given the legal and administrative costs involved with direct licensing we are unable to offer direct licenses at competitive rates for public performance or transmission. We will review our position every 12 months to consider whether the size and skill base of our organisation enables us to engage in direct licensing.
- If you require a licence for the public performance of one of our sound recordings or music videos, please contact OneMusic Australia through the website https://onemusic.com.au or call 1300 162 162.
- If you require a licence for the communication of one of our sound recordings or music videos, please contact the Phonographic Performance Company of Australia (PPCA) at www.ppca.com.au or by calling (02) 8569-1100.
- If you wish to provide any feedback or comments on our direct licensing policy, please email info@3rdstep.com.au
Please contact 3RD STEP to enquire about licensing our sound recordings for a use that is not covered by a PPCA license. Such uses may include but are not limited to:
- Including 3RD STEP’s sound recordings on a compilation; and/or
- Synchronising 3RD STEP’s sound recordings for film, television or other audio-visual works; and/or
- Including 3RD STEP’s sound recordings for use, remixing and/or sequencing by DJs

RETURN & REFUND POLICY
You are welcome to return or exchange the products purchased at 3rdstep.com.au/shop. You have 14 days to decide if an item is right for you. The items must be returned to 3RD STEP’s address in proper condition and in manufacturer’s packaging unless returned as faulty or damaged.
Refund Options
3RD STEP offers several methods of compensation for a returned item if the product is undamaged and the package is in proper condition. (Please note that the cost of shipping the item back to the store is not covered by 3RD STEP)
Exchange Upon receiving the returned item, 3RD STEP will replace it with another of your choice of equal value
Money refund 3RD STEP will return the cost of the item you spent to purchase, minus the shipping fee (where shipping has been fulfilled. If the item has not yet been posted before the refund request, the postage fee will also be refunded)
Although you are free to choose preferred compensation, 3RD STEP reserves the right to change the list of available compensation options depending on the items returned, customer location, banking peculiarities, or other reasons creating difficulties or inconveniences whether for 3RD STEP or for customers.
How to Return a Purchased Item
If it is within 14 days of receiving the item/s, fill out 3RD STEP’s contact form correctly with your order number, the product you are returning, the reason for the return, and if you are waiting for a refund or an exchange. If you do not mention your order number, 3RD STEP won’t be able to process your return.
Repackage the item in the original box and packaging.
Take your parcel to any Post Office and obtain proof of postage for the tracking number. This will speed up the process and will legitimize that your parcel is on its way back to the return address.

The shipping cost for the returned items is paid by you. 3RD STEP will compensate the shipping charges only in case of returning damaged, faulty or incorrect items.
What Happens Next
3RD STEP will send you an email upon receiving and processing your return in its original condition.
A returned item will be inspected upon arrival. If the condition an item has been returned in is inappropriate (e.g. there are signs of wear) and we’re unable to put it back into stock, 3RD STEP may not be able to accept your return and may have to send it back to you.
If the condition of a returned item is appropriate, you will receive compensation within 10 business days depending on the payment method you used for purchasing the returned item.
(If you paid by credit/debit card, 3RD STEP will refund the balance of your credit/debit card. If you paid using PayPal, the balance will be refunded to your PayPal account)
Returning a Damaged or Faulty Item
3RD STEP is sorry if you received a damaged or faulty item.
Please return this item as soon as possible so that a refund can be processed. If you’re unable to return the item, please contact info@3rdstep.com.au.
Please bear in mind that all items are inspected on return
Returning an Incorrect Item
If one of the items you received isn't what you ordered, please send it back to 3RD STEP. Once inspected, you’ll be refunded as soon as possible.
Non-refundable Items
3RD STEP does not refund the products that are not eligible for return.
Non-refundable (non-returnable) products:
- Body Jewellery
- Products containing food items
- "Final Sale" items
- Gift Cards
- products (including audio files, video, graphics and documents)
